How We Buy
NamWater procurement is carried out in line with the Public Procurement Act, 2015 (Act 15 of 2015), the Public Procurement Regulations, and the guidelines and directives issued by the Government of the Republic of Namibia from time to time. Under the Act, tenders are now called bids.

Obtaining Bidding Documents
- Free bidding documents can be downloaded from this website.
- For open national bids, request the documents through the bid's web page; the link is sent to your email inbox.
- Documents that must be bought (N$300 for current open national bids) can be bought at the NamWater cash office, Head Office, 176 Iscor Street, Aigams Building, Windhoek (ground floor). Alternatively, make a bank deposit and send the proof of payment to the Procurement Management Unit at bids@namwater.com.na. Once the payment is confirmed, the documents are emailed to you.
Submitting Bids
Deliver documents to the Quotation and Bid Box, Namibia Water Corporation Ltd, NamWater Head Office, Aigams Building, 176 Iscor Street, Windhoek.
All prospective bidders are subject to the Public Procurement Act 15 of 2015, the Public Procurement Regulations and the directives issued under the Act.

Scam Alert
People pretending to be officials of the NamWater Procurement Management Unit have contacted vendors, promising contracts in exchange for payment or "facilitation fees", sometimes using the names of real staff members and forged documents.
NamWater never asks vendors for payment in exchange for procurement opportunities. Do not respond to such requests, and do not share confidential information with anyone whose identity you cannot confirm. All official communication comes from addresses ending in @namwater.com.na. If in doubt, contact the Procurement Management Unit at bids@namwater.com.na or on +264 61 71 0000, and report anything suspicious immediately.

How do I get bidding documents?
Free bidding documents can be downloaded from the Procurement section of this website. Documents that must be bought can be paid for at the NamWater cash office at the Head Office, 176 Iscor Street, Windhoek (ground floor), or by bank deposit: send the proof of payment to the Procurement Management Unit at bids@namwater.com.na and the documents will be emailed to you once the payment is confirmed.
