Business Unit North

Business Unit North is the largest of the four. It covers the Cuvelai basin (the four northern regions of Omusati, Oshikoto, Oshana and Ohangwena), Kavango East and West, and the Zambezi region.

Water Sources

• The Cuvelai is supplied from Calueque, a dam about 35 km inside southern Angola.
• Kavango West and East are supplied from the Kavango River.
• The Zambezi region is supplied from the Zambezi River.
