Overview
Business Unit Central is one of the most important Business Units in the country because it includes Windhoek, the capital city and economic engine of Namibia. It stretches from Karibib, Otjiwarongo, Okakarara and Okahandja to Windhoek, Gobabis and Rehoboth, and mainly covers the Khomas and Omaheke regions.
Water Sources
The unit is supplied by a three-dam system: the Swakoppoort, Omatako and Von Bach dams.
